Pasco Young Scientist Fair

After checking out the schedule for the Science Fair, I just knew that I would not be able to race in the Urban Crit.  So here I am typing away, when everyone else is having an awesome time over in Lakeland.  But that's OK, like my Dad said  "There's going to be plenty of Urban Crits, but only ONE 5th grade science fair."  And he had a point.  So when I woke up this morning,  I thought to myself, I'm going to win this thing.  I put on my T6 "BIKES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN COOL" t-shirt because today...I wanted to stand out.  Then, I did a quick refresher on my "GOT GEARS?" science project and headed over to River Ridge for the Pasco Young Scientist Fair.  My interviews went really well with the judges and later in the afternoon I was rewarded with a 1st place medal.  So while I wish I was racing right now, I'm extremely happy with how I did at the Science Fair and glad I didn't ditch it for the race.

Way To Go... Kiki

Congratulations to my awesome sister for being invited to join the competitive team at Suncoast Gymnastics Academy.  You have truly been an inspiration and I wish you the best of luck.

Fifth Grade Frenzies

I've got the 5th grade frenzies.  Now I know why they have that show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?".  It's because I swear you learn everything in the 5th grade, even the baby stuff.  I  had to carry around an egg for 4 days.  Meet my son Ryder (who is no longer with us because he rotted away).

Anyway, who would have thought 5th grade would be so challenging.  It has been been filled with non-stop homework (even on the weekends) and tons of other stuff.  And for the next couple of weekends I will be working on my insect project.  And another thing, remember my science project?  Well, I got first place.  I should be happy right?  Happy about 1st place, not happy the district science fair is on the same day as the Urban Crit.  I'm going to try to do both, should be very interesting.

Oh and thank you so much Twin Six for your fantastical and  unexpected package I received today.  You guys are so awesome and thank you for your continued support.
Back to the bugs!!!
