Lucy

It's a very sad day at my house today. My cat Lucy had to be put to sleep. She was 16 years old and was not doing so good the last couple of weeks. We spent the afternoon together planting a Magnolia tree in the backyard. This stinks!!...in the last 2 years I have lost my Grandpa, Ahma, 3 great grandparents, Patches and now Lucy. It would be nice to make it through just one year without losing someone!!!

Valentine's Day

Friday night my family and I went to my schools Valentine's Day Dance. NO dancing for me...but I did win the hula hoop championship. I think I shocked a lot of my friends when I won the contest.

Saturday we were supposed to camp at Santos but the weatherman said it was going to rain. We decided to go to Alafia instead. I tried to ride Rock Garden, but to be honest, that first downhill with the root at the bottom of it, scared me!! We decided to stick with the easy trails instead. I had a great time riding on River Loop with my sister. She was awesome and did the entire trail. On the trail, we took our time to enjoy the scenery. We checked out the river and I even touched an armidillo. I finished out the day playing with my friends and cooking weenies on the grill.

I would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my crazy Dad!! Wow.. he's 39 years old today.

Starkey Park

Finally...nice weather!! My family and I went to Starkey Park today to get a little riding in. I usually hate riding on the road, but I ended up having a great time. While riding my bike, I started to remember why I did not like riding here. Oh yeah, I had a bad experience when I was 6. I crashed really hard going into the parking lot. My Dad had to take me to the hospital. I had road rash covering my face and my Dad thought I needed stitches on my chin. Check out my face in the picture. My first time meeting Jeff and this is what I looked like.
