The squiggy went just how I had hoped and planned. My goal was 3 laps and I completed all 3. The first and second lap I averaged about 10 MPH. Not too bad, considering we had to stop a couple times because my Dad was having mechanical problems. However, on the third lap, I started feeling the pain. My back and shoulders were KILLING me because I have no suspension. I'm the type of racer/rider who doesn't pick a line, I just go barreling through the trails and whatever is in my way I ride over it. The roots caught up with me!! Time to retire the little white bike!!

It's Almost Done
I know what you are thinking!! Where's the Ellsworth frame??? Unfortunately, it's hanging up until I grow a little. I was pretty bummed when we started putting it together and found it to be too big. So, we decided to put together the KLEIN for now. Later, we will switch the parts over to the Ellsworth. I'm still waiting on my new fork to come, so I won't be using this bike for the Squiggy.

Spring Break Continued....
OK, now the real fun begins!! Don't get me wrong, I like the beach, but I would much rather be on my bike. We left for Fort Clinch (Fernandina Beach) Thursday evening. Got a good nights sleep and ready to ride Friday morning. We did the 6 mile loop, took a break, planned on doing another loop, but my sister was not feeling well. So, we went down to the beach to relax. My mom and I looked for shells while my Dad and sister built a sand castle.

Spring Break
So far, it's been a fun Spring Break. Friday night we headed over to Cocoa Beach. We got there around midnight, wide awake and ready to do some shopping at Ron Jon's. The next day my sister and I had fun riding the waves on our new body boards, the water was FREEZING!!
